The Mendo Cup Was fun! We had a great time and really felt at home at the wonderful event hosted by Nikki and Swami with Swami Select, Mendocino Producers Guild and local farmers! Congrats to all the winners!

How exciting to have a cannabis competition amongst sungrown flower only from Mendocino County! We were thrilled to enter our strain called the Open Sesame this year and though we didn’t win, we don’t have ego about it and we just love to participate in all the competitions when we can. Super exciting to see some of the winners this year. The first place winner was Sweet Sister‘s Family Farm for their Biscotti! We love that family and have been friends with since the Mendocino Generations farm alliance days prior to prop 64 California. Well deserved!  Another awesome win was a high CBD flower grown by Emerald Spirit Botanicals! So glad to see that other cannabinoids can win amongst high THC flower! We know now that flavorants, terpenes and all these recent scientific discoveries really enhance the effects! So amazing that they are becoming honored as part of the full experience of sungrown flower!

Banana Butter - Jedi Nights x Koffee

50/50 Hybrid

The Banana Butter jar pop offers a wave of sweetness cut with funky skunk. Evoking the scent of spiced banana bread balanced with a sprinkle of lemon zest and paired with a robust, earthy coffee and cream. Like a guava and banana milkshake enjoyed in a redwood forest. The buds are large and dense displaying vibrant hues of jungle green and lime, interwoven with striking auburn pistils. Effects are euphoric, reviving, and enchanting, making it ideal for both solo reflection and group connection. In social settings, the true psychedelic nature of this cultivar emerges, fostering bonding, jubilance and a shared utopic vision. Excellent cultivar for those looking for functional pain and/or anxiety relief that also allows for creativity, movement and flow.
